Your wedding day is a very special day.  One of the things you need to determine prior to the wedding is the music that will be played at your wedding.  In particular, wedding first dance songs,  father daughter songs, and mother son wedding songs.  Each of these will be a very special dance between the new husband and wife and their parents.  While some people go for humor, using songs like “I like big butts”, most people want to find more traditional music.  There are many choices and finding the perfect songs can be difficult. 

If you have a specific type of dance in mind, then that will narrow your choices of music.  For example, there are few modern songs that are waltzes, which is a popular first dance.  You may not want to limit yourself to the type of dance until you decide on your music.  Some songs have great lyrics, but may be difficult to dance to.  The beat may not be pronounced, it may be too fast or too slow, or you might prefer a male or female.  Many popular wedding songs are remade by different artists or are remade into an instrumental piece, so look around to see if there is an arrangement that you like.

Another thing to watch out for is the meaning of the song.  Look through the actual lyrics and search online to see what the artist was intending when they wrote the piece.  You may surprised that a particular song is not what it sounds like.
